Dog Trekking from Branco to the Cascatelle di Cerveteri

Il Fosso Vaccina, also called Fosso della Mola is a small stream that rises on Sabatini mountains, Around the Bracciano lake and, after skirting the Cerveteri plateau, it flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea in the center of Ladispoli. In its path it gives life to some spectacular waterfalls, the 5 Cerveteri waterfalls.
The torrent flows on tuff and basalt: the tuff which is sensitive to erosion, forms gorges, while the very resistant basalt remains high, giving rise to the jumps of the falls.
