Oscar, around the world in 80 days

Il World Woof Tour, the world tour of the Bau, must be something fantastic, a truly incredible experience, even when it is a tough guy like Oscar, my idol. He managed to cross 29 countries in eighty days, a real record, and I do not deny that I would like to be able to do it too.

With what admiration my four and two-legged friends and I witnessed the preparations, albeit from a distance. All the vaccinations, the anti-rabies one first, then the microchip and finally the passport ... and I thought they were just human things.
Ma what struck me most was the generosity of the human who took care of Oscar taking him away from the kennel, in South Africa where he was. She, sweet Joanne, sold her house to allow my great friend to do this incredible tour around the world. A truly noble gesture for a biped, with the sole purpose of sensitizing other humans to the bad story of abandonment. It's a really bad story, after months or years of love and affection being suddenly left alone in the middle of a street or forced into a kennel. But Oscar is the testimonial of all those four paws who have had a second chance and they have been able to make the most of it.

I can't hide a hint of jealousy in all of this when following Oscar over her adventures I also learned about the romantic vacation with Zara, but a hero (perhaps) can be forgiven for that too. Then seeing it so beautiful with the Statue of Liberty in the background or even with the Pyramids, all bad feelings disappeared.
Fortunately he always had a lot of humans who were close to him, because I always imagined that in the course of his travels he also encountered some difficulties practice. But from the photos or images these bipeds showed us it always seemed like he was having a lot of fun.

After all I also like to remember him like this, around the world with many humans in tow. Who knows if they too will not understand in the end what is really important to us and above all they never deprive us of the affection that we always and unconditionally give to anyone who decides to take care of us and take care of us a little.
